皆さん、こんにちは、吉岡理穂です。
私はリアルター/ブローカー※１として、ダラスで新生活を始める皆さんのサポートをしています。
日本の皆さんはもちろん、他州からの移住者の方にも、アメリカの特定の地域の住宅市場は全く未知の世界だと思います。
住宅売買契約に関する交渉や手続きは市場の状況によって変化しますし、賃貸物件の申し込みや契約手続きはSSN※２やクレジットスコアがないとハードルが高く、文化や生活の違いなど、お客様にとって多くの課題を含んでいることがあります。
私の仕事は、これらの契約を難しくしている条件を最小限に抑え、スムーズな生活のスタートをサポートすることです。
※１ リアルター/ブローカー
全米リアルター協会の会員である不動産仲介人のことです。州ごとに資格の取得が必要で、MLS（不動産情報サービス）を使用することが可能になります。
※２ SSN
ソーシャルセキュリティナンバー、社会保障番号、アメリカにおける社会保障法による市民・永住者・外国人就労者に発行される9桁の番号です。
１）仕事を始めたきっかけ
幼い頃からずっと日本と世界の架け橋になるような仕事をしたいと思っていました。日本で就職した時にも、海外駐在を希望しつつ、英語力国際力をつけるためアメリカへの社費留学制度を使ってテキサス州の大学院で都市政策・公共政策を学びました。日本に帰国後も社内のアメリカと関わるプロジェクトに携わり作り上げていました。
結婚を機に会社を辞めてダラスへ移住してきてからは、子育てに専念するために専業主婦をしていましたが、やはりダラスに住む日本人の方のお役に立ちたい気持ちが大きく、パートタイムで補習校の教師や歯科助手として仕事を始めました。
そこでお会いした皆さんのお引越しの際の大変だったお話や私自身がアメリカに初めて移住した際に大変な思いをした経験から、もっとダラスでの生活のスタートアップが円滑にいくようにお手伝いできる仕事がしたい、と思っていたところ、シングルマザーとなるというタイミングとメンターである素敵なブローカーとの出会いとで、理想的な仕事であるリアルターになる道を進むことを決意しました。
２） 仕事の魅力と難しさ
この仕事の最大の魅力は、お客様が理想の家に出会い、無事に入居された時のお喜びの様子を一緒に味わうことができることです。
私にとって、ダラスにいらっしゃる方との新しい出会いや交渉を通じての他のエージェントとの交流、沢山の家やアパートメントを見ることができることも大きな楽しみです。
毎日が新たな発見があります。
その一方で、この仕事の中で難しいところは、毎件条件が異なる点です。物件やオーナーによるため、それぞれのケースに合わせて必要なリサーチを行い、交渉し、時には専門家に相談することもあります。
３）私の究極の夢
ダラスへの移住されるお客様をサポートすることで、お客様のストレスを軽減し、快適な生活のスタートアップをしていただくことが、今私にできることと思っています。
さらにそのお家がお住まいになられてる方の癒しの場（パワースポット・ヒーリングスポット）になるような、お手伝いができたらいいなと考えています。そのようなお家がどんどん増えて街中に広がり癒しの場になったら、やがて市、州や国を超え、地球レベルで平和な世界になるというのが私の夢です。

I'm Riho Yoshioka, a real estate agent/broker. I offer dedicated support to those beginning a new life in Dallas, Texas. I aim to help you in this adventure with the first and most important part of the journey, a new home.
For people from Japan, or relocating from other states, the housing market in the United States may seem like a strange world. Negotiations and procedures related to housing purchase and rental contracts vary depending on market conditions. Applying for rental properties and contract procedures can be challenging without a Social Security Number (SSN) or credit score. I will help you every step of the way.
>Why I Started This Career
Ever since I was young, I wanted to be a bridge between Japan and the world. When employed in Japan, I aspired for overseas assignments and utilized the company-sponsored study abroad program to learn Urban Policy and Public Policy at a graduate school in Texas. After returning to Japan, I was involved in company projects related to the U.S.
After moving to Dallas, I became a full-time homemaker. However, I always had a strong desire to help the Japanese community in Dallas and began part-time work as a schoolteacher at the Japanese school and dental assistant where I also acted as a translator.
My decision to become a realtor was influenced by the challenges I heard from others and my own experiences when first moving to America. I wanted to help make the transition smoother for those starting their life in Dallas. A wonderful mentor and real estate broker inspired me to pursue my ideal career as a realtor.
>The Appeal and Challenges of My Job
The greatest joy of my job is witnessing clients' happiness when they find and move into their ideal home.
Meeting new people in Dallas, interacting with other agents during negotiations, and seeing many wonderful houses and apartments is very exciting. Every day brings new discoveries and adventures.
All cases are unique. Depending on the property and owner, it requires tailored research, negotiation, and even consultation with specialists.

My goal is to support clients moving to Dallas, reduce their stress, and help them start a comfortable life in this vibrant city.
The home is a place of healing, rejuvenation, and peace. My dream is happy homes that spread across the city, state, and nation and toward a peaceful world.
